We have begun a Spreadsheet to look at the pricing. Link to Spreadsheet below.
I have made two versions one above the other – the second is a simpler way of doing it. Here are some out comes from playing around that I think are realistic
Product Specific Fixed cost of being at Akaroa about $14,000 for the whole year. Includes an operations manager and high transport costs. Even with really low rides for 5 months that cost and more would be covered.
Two months of busy rides would give a clear profit of between $25,000 and $45,000 for the two months. (assuming the other months covered all their costs)
